I created Made For The People with two partners. We started with reusable face masks during the pandemic when everyone’s world was flipped upside down. Which inspired the design of the logo. Our focus was on the environment when we started seeing disposable masks littering the streets.

We expanded with the creation of bamboo straws before the plastic ban came into effect. From there we started making apparel made with upcycled fabrics. I even started the Thrift Revival collection, satisfying my love for crafting, where I hand embroidered vintage denim jackets.

Our products were available at Indigo, Hudson Bay, Farm Boy, Drake General Store and Slow Current.

Oh…and we made our own custom chocolate with Le Beau!
